Roles and Responsibilities: The Contract Administrator Associate position will assist the ASRC Federal Contracts Department in entering and maintaining company contract information in the company's database. This full-time position reports to a Contract Manager and ensures that the department's records and information are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. This is a great opportunity for entry level individuals and new graduates to get in the door and learn the fundamentals of government contracting. You will have an opportunity to learn about contracts supporting a wide range of government customers. This position will provide the foundation for a successful career path in Contracts. This position will provide you the basics of understanding Government contracts, from how government funding works to understanding the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
