**_What Clinical Services contributes to Cardinal Health_** Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice. Clinical Services are responsible for medical services that directly or indirectly provide healthcare to patients. **_Essential Functions:_** · Register new patients. · Assist during medical procedures. · Take vital signs. · Schedule external labs, diagnostic and other follow-up for patients. · Request and obtain necessary clinical documents for the patient's chart. · Update medical records. · Organize examination rooms. · Sterilize / prepare medical instruments. · Disposal of contaminated supplies. · Follow up on patient calls. · Schedule appointments. · Coordinate dictation schedule. · May assist with verifying health insurance coverage, and other clerical duties. · Regular attendance and punctuality. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. · Ensures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved. · Perform any other functions as required by management. · Ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary. **_Qualifications_** + 0-2 years of experience, preferred + High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred + Certified or eligible for certification as a Medical Assistant in the state of employment. + Current CPR certification. + Bilingual Spanish + Will be required to cover both the cCARE Riverside and cCARE Victorville locations. **_What is expected of you and others at this level_** + Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks + Works on basic and routine assignments + Selects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelines + Work is closely managed and follows detailed instructions + Seeks regular guidance and advice from supervisor **Anticipated hourly range:** $21.00 per hour - $25.00 per hour **Bonus eligible:** No **Benefits:** Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being. + Medical, dental and vision coverage + Paid time off plan + Health savings account (HSA) + 401k savings plan + Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay + Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) + Short- and long-term disability coverage + Work-Life resources + Paid parental leave + Healthy lifestyle programs **Application window anticipated to close:** 5/30/2025 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
